COOKIES

Advisory notice pursuant to Art. 2 para. 5 – Directive 2009/136/EC

What are cookies
Cookies are small text files which sites visited by users send to their terminals, where they are stored to then be transmitted back to the same sites upon the next visit. Third party cookies, on the other hand, are configured by a different site to the one that the user is visiting. This is because there can be elements (images, maps, sounds, specific links to web pages from other domains, etc.) on each site that reside on servers other than that of the visited site.

 Type of cookies
There are so-called “technical” or even “functional” cookies that are essential for the proper functioning of site pages. Without these technical cookies, some features of the site may be compromised, so access to content may be limited. For example, they allow some of the data entered in filled in forms, pages visited by a user or a site administrator, to be tracked.
Those that serve to understand whether users are new or returning, how they use the site, how they move between pages, how much time they stay on pages and on the site, and from which geographic area they’ve reached the site, are part of the technical cookies. Data does not identify the user as a person, but they are aggregated anonymously by the analytics tools. In all cases, the technical cookies mentioned above are absolutely harmless because they do not collect any personal information from the user.

Cookie profiling or advertising (this site does NOT use this type of cookie)
These are the cookies used to trace the user’s web browsing and create profiles on their tastes, habits, choices, etc. Advertisements can be transmitted to the user’s terminal with these cookies, in line with the preferences already displayed by the same user in online browsing on various websites.

What type of cookie does this site use?
This site only uses technical cookies to improve browsing and to have detailed statistics on visits made by users. There are also some links with Google Maps, Twitter, Facebook and Google Plus, so when you connect to such services or websites, cookies from the respective websites/services may be recalled.

Cookie management is therefore dependent on your browser, click on your browser’s icon to know how to handle cookies.

What does the law say
User’s consent is not required for cookie installation, but an advisory notice is required (Article 13 of the Privacy Code). Profiling cookies, on the other hand, can be installed on the user’s terminal only if they have given their consent after being informed in a simplified way.
